What a week! I spent sometime organizing my closet and pantry. You would think that I was watching videos + shows during those times, but nope. I was listening to podcasts. However, I still had time in between organizing that I discovered these things:
Trailers
As much as I love entertainment, I don’t go to the movie theater that often. Why? Because I have an internal fear of going to the movies by myself and being judged by the world. The last time I went to a movie theater was to watch Aladdin with my Bible study. [Quick Review: it was good until the excessive hip hop numbers and – in my opinion – the unnecessary additional song “Speechless”… However, I digress.] I say all of this because I have ZERO clue on the new movie premieres. Yet, I stumbled upon trailers – both the movie kind and streaming TV show.
Charlie’s Angels – The Remake
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSUq4VfWfjE&w=560&h=315]Did anybody else know about this remake? I discovered it when I googled “movies in 2019.” I SEE YOU, ELIZABETH BANKS. To be honest I didn’t think this needed to be remade. The prior angels (Diaz, Liu, and Barrymore) were peferctly fine to me. I can see Banks putting a feminine twist by being Bosley. I respect her for keeping the group diverse. I wonder if Kristen Stewart is supposed to be the new Cameron Diaz, but I’m looking forward to watching the movie to see how they make the franchise and characters as their own.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel SEASON 3
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTcKHCX-nqg&w=560&h=315]I briefly mentioned my interest in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The show’s storyline is different from anything I’ve seen. It’s not your typical sitcom. There’s definitely more storytelling and tasteful drama. In Season 2, the show was set in the Catskills and Paris, so what’s in store for Season 3? Mrs. Maisel is going on tour around the country as the opening act for a singer. That’s all I know. I can’t wait for December 6, 2019.
The Love Your Looking For
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxw32YlUHpM&w=560&h=315]UM. talk about a video that tugs your heart strings. Jeanine Amapola, a fellow Texan, is a influencer/content creator I admire and starred in this short video. She posted her thoughts on her decision to perform in this film I’m not a political person, but despite political differences you may have with the message, this video is still great to watch. There’s just something about videos with no spoken words that add more beauty to it. Plus, the production is great.
Laura Prepon
I mentioned last week that I was watching “That ’70s Show” on Netflix. [I’ve haven’t made much progress since then. I’m still on Season 3.] Prepon stars as Donna Pinciotti on the show, but you might know her as Alex Vause in “Orange is the New Black.” She has written books, but recently, I have become a fan of her YouTube channel. Her videos are basic 10-minute lifestyle videos, but she just inspires me to be healthier.

That’s all folks! I’m trying to showcase videos/shows that are not only relevant to pop culture, but also positive and life-enriching. Let me know which video you enjoyed the most! Did I miss something. Recommend it in the comments.
